Last year Katana Zero implemented an important update where you can pet a cat. After that update, developer Askiisoft went quiet for a long time as they worked on another game.
However, Askiisoft recently broke the silence by tweeting that Katana Zero's expansion DLC is still on the way and it will still remain free, but it will take much longer as the DLC is three times the size than what they originally planned to make.
This is amazing news for Katana Zero fans, as the game is really good and we want as many extra hours of playtime as possible.
The reviews for Katana Zero are off the charts good. It scored a perfect 10/10 from Steam along with a 8.7/10 rating from IGN, and it only costs $15. Askiisoft has sold over 100,000 copies so far.
Katana Zero plays out in such a way that every choice you make gives a different result. Katana Zero is a stylish neo-noir, action-platformer featuring breakneck action and instant-death combat. Slash, dash, and manipulate time to unravel your past in a beautifully brutal acrobatic display.
Askiisoft followed up the tweet with info about Katana Zero’s vinyl soundtrack release, which is still in the works. The studio also talked about combat designs.
So, what are your thoughts on the DLC expansion for Katana Zero? Do you think Askiisoft should keep releasing expansions as they grow? Personally, I think they should continue what they do best and keep releasing amazing content. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
