Krafton officially revealed the 2024 development roadmap for inZOI. This life simulation game gives players full control and allows them to change any aspect of their world and create their very own unique stories and experiences.
The development roadmap was showcased in a new video which featured inZOI Producer and Director Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim. In addition to the development direction, we also get to learn more about some of the game's key features. You can watch the video below:
What can you look forward to with this upcoming title? These include:
- Cars that the game character 'Zoi' can drive or ride.
- Group Activities for players to enjoy daily life together.
- Reputation (Karma) where past actions influence future life.
- City Edit for controlling urban billboards, weather, and cleanliness.
- A Studio to create and reimagine specific scenarios.
- A Photo Mode for high-resolution screenshots.
The studio also revealed that it's working on plugins that hope to encourage easier mod creation and artistic expression from players. The game aims to serve as a tool for creativity where players can share and discuss their creations through the in-game Canvas. The studio went on to say that when it comes to the development of the game, one of the things they're focusing on is "communication with users." Krafton said that they want to "actively incorporate user feedback" as they're developing the game.
In a statement, inZOI producer and director Kim shared that since the first trailer came out last year, they've experienced an immense interest when it comes to the fans.
While it is indeed exciting to learn more about what the game has to offer, there's more coming soon. That's because the roadmap video isn't complete, and the second part is scheduled to come out in May. It's going to feature fan questions from Discord which are going to be introduced by the community manager and answered by the producer himself.
Not much has been revealed so far though we'll probably get more information in the coming months.
Krafton is responsible for a lot of premier entertainment properties that include titles like PUBG: Battlegrounds, PUBG Mobile, The Callisto Protocol, New State Mobile, Moonbreaker, Defense Derby and TERA.
