The August Update for Lost Ark, also known as Under the Arkesian Sun, is now available. One of the highlights is the new Pet Ranch where you can have your pets produce Jam Cookies in exchange for items.
What Is It?
The Pet Ranch in Lost Ark is a new location in the Stronghold. If you want to unlock the Pet Ranch, your Stronghold must be at Level 15 and you should have already unlocked the Stronghold Farm and Cave.
There are two sections in the Pet Ranch that you need to know about. The first section is called the Cookie Workshop where your pets produce Jam Cookies. The second section is simply known as the Ranch. This is an important place because you can raise your pet’s morale here so that they can make cookies again.
Producing cookies will raise your pet’s expertise. Once they’ve reached max expertise, you’re able to upgrade them to Legendary by spending Pet Growth Tokens. Legendary pets can unlock a random powerful skill that can provide you with one of three buffs at intermittent intervals. There are six pet skills in total and they are:
- Cheers of the Heart
- 20% chance of recovering 8% of Max HP
- 40% chance of casting a 5s Shield for 10% of Max HP
- 40% chance of recovering 3% of Max HP
- Cheers of Serenity
- 20% chance of resetting Cooldown of Movement and Stand Up Skills, and reducing the Cooldown by 40% for 8s
- 40% chance of casting a 5s Shield for 10% of Max HP
- 40% chance of recovering 3% of Max HP
- Cheers of Heaven
- 20% chance of Attack Speed +3% for 8s
- 40% chance of casting a 5s Shield for 10% of Max HP
- 40% chance of recovering 3% of Max HP
- Cheers of Courage
- 20% chance of Move Speed +5% for 8s
- 40% chance of casting a 5s Shield for 10% of Max HP
- 40% chance of recovering 3% of Max HP
- Cheers of Resonance
- 20% chance of Specialty Meter gain +10% for 8s
- 40% chance of casting a 5s Shield for 10% of Max HP
- 40% chance of recovering 3% of Max HP
- Cheers of Silence
- 20% chance of recovering 25% of Max MP
- 40% chance of casting a 5s Shield for 10% of Max HP
- 40% chance of recovering 3% of Max HP
