Marvel's Avengers: Patch 2.0.4 Features Supernatural Avengers Outfits

Halloween is just around the corner and Square Enix gives you some events for the spookiest time of the year. Patch 2.0.4 for Marvel’s Avengers gives you a wealth of new content, including the Supernatural Avengers Outfit set and the “Capwolf” Outfit, among many others.

Cosmic Threat Event

From October 21 to November 4, there will be new special missions available. No information has been disclosed so far about what you’re going to face, but you should be prepared for anything.

For completing the special missions, you will receive the Tachyon Surge gear. And, if you finish the main mission chain, you will acquire Thor’s Stark Enhancements Outfit. When equipped, this outfit allows you to stare straight into the enemy’s soul.

New Items in the Marketplace

There are some Halloween-inspired items that you can purchase in the Marketplace right now. The first is Captain America’s Capwolf Outfit. This costume first appeared in Captain America #405 in 1992.

Captain America is not the only superhero who has a frightening costume in this update. You can also get the Supernatural Avengers Outfit Set for Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Kate Bishop, Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, and Black Widow.

Avengers Assemble

Aside from special missions, there is a new community challenge that every player can participate in. The challenge is to defeat a total of 1,250,000 Adaptoids. If everyone can do it, you will receive 500 Units as a reward.

• Fixed an issue on Xbox and PC where Ms. Marvel would sometimes not animate when in multiplayer
• In Here Comes the Pain in the War for Wakanda Operation, enemies no longer go out of the map
• Fixed an issue where the final step of the Panther King mission chain did not update if the War for Wakanda Operation was reset
• Fixed a rare crash that occurred when Thor threw Mjolnir
• The Anniversary Nameplate is properly unlocked for everyone who has met the requirements
• Thor’s Warrior’s Fury Heroic no longer activates all buttons on prison convoy cages

Marvel’s Avengers Patch 2.0.4 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and PC.
