The psychological game by Bloober Team, The Medium, was released half a month ago. The game received a positive reception from both fans and critics. However, it also received some criticism for its abysmal performance.
The game is rendered twice simultaneously, so it was expected to be demanding , and maintaining at 30 FPS is quite a difficult task let alone at 60. This can be considered unacceptable to some players.
On February 13, the developer released the first major patch for the game. Patch 1.1 optimizes game performance, fixes gameplay bugs, and addresses crash issues.
The optimization works across the board and it includes improvements for ray tracing. Since ray tracing in this game is very taxing on the hardware, we strongly recommend that you use the "Medium" setting of RT instead of "High."
The scene lighting bug that occurred on multiple locations and the game sound issue are both fixed now. Several gameplay bugs are eliminated while interactions with characters and in-game events are improved.
