Minecraft Earth Early Access has officially been released in both the US and UK. This increases the total number of countries with early access to 10. The other countries are Canada, South Korea, Philippines, Sweden, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and Iceland.
So what can players expect with the early release? For one, players can throw down a buildplate as well as create an interactive Minecraft diorama for everyone to enjoy. There are also tappables available for players to gather resources and unique mobs. Players can also craft and smelt resources and play with other builders in order to make masterpieces. For those brave enough, they can test their survival skills and battle hostile mobs in adventures.
For the release of the early access to the US, Minecraft Earth revealed that it was literally bringing new mobs to the real world. That's right, these are mobs that are not available in the original Minecraft game. That's not all, as early access players should be able to find these mobs only a few blocks away, depending on where they live.
Minecraft Earth also announced that pop-up statues are set to arrive in New York City, London, and Sydney. With these statues, players get the chance to meet Muddy Pig, Moobloom, and Jolly Llama in person. You may even get the Jolly Llama in your game of Minecraft Earth. The statues are going to have a QR code that, when scanned, gives players access to an exclusive new adventure where they can unlock the Jolly Llama before it becomes available worldwide in December.
These pop-ups are going to be live for three consecutive weekends starting November 16 until December 1 and available at:
- New York
- The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001.
- London
- The Queen’s Walk, Southbank - near Hungerford Bridge.
- Sydney
- Campbell’s Cove - 35 Circular Quay W, The Rocks NSW 2000.
