A new Minecraft Update 1.9 preview build has been released by Mojang, just as we’ve come to expect each Wednesday morning, but there’s really not much to talk about in Minecraft snapshot 16w03a.
Our latest look at Minecraft Update 1.9 hasn’t changed much from its predecessor, which emerged last Wednesday, but there are a handful of noteworthy bug fixes in Minecraft snapshot 16w03a. And that’s a good thing, considering bug fixes are all there is to be found in this week’s preview of Minecraft Update 1.9. What’s more, considering the multitude of Minecraft mods currently floating around the web, anyone desperate for new content has plenty of options to fill that void until Minecraft Update 1.9 is out and Mojang turns its attention to new features again.
Those afflicted by a bug causing end portals not to activate properly will be happy to know the issue has been addressed in Minecraft snapshot 16w03a. There are also fixes for a bug that made all damage also cause knockback and a visual bug that caused some entities to be shown outside of their spawner.
