Capcom has revealed that there will be a downloadable demo for its upcoming Monster Hunter Generations coming June 30 to the Nintendo eShop.
This demo will feature three monsters of varying difficulty to accommodate both new and experienced players. This demo will have local and online multiplayer capabilities (up to four players), which will encourage players to join up with friends to battle the newly introduced Great Maccao, then attempt to face the new owl-like monster Malfestio, before truly testing their mettle against the fan-favorite Nargacuga.
Capcom also showcased a brand new trailer at E3 2016 that shows off some of the new enemies that you’ll encounter on your new Monster Hunter journey, called Deviant Monsters.
Take a look at the Monster Hunter Generations E3 2016 trailer below.
In the new Monster Hunter Generations trailer we see the new Deviant Monsters that have survived previous hunter encounters. But this time, they have mutated and evolved into a greater threat with new fearsome looks.
These new enemies will also come with new behaviors and abilities.
But encountering and defeating these new enemies will reward players with parts to craft incredibly powerful and unique gear. The Dreadking Rathalos and the Thunderlord Zinogre are examples of Deviant Monsters that grant new parts to craft.
Monster Hunter Generations is set to release July 15 with a special edition Nintendo 3DS XL available the same day.
