Capcom has finally announced the official release date for Monster Hunter Generations . Fans can get their hands on the latest installment of the RPG franchise on July 15, and will also be able to take home a limited edition New Nintendo 3DS XL.
The New Nintendo 3DS XL Monster Hunter Generations Edition comes in a blue hue and features artwork of the game’s Fated Four, an elite group of powerful new monsters. The New 3DS XL allows players to go straight into the action with enhanced graphics, fluid camera control options with the C-stick functionality, and mappable ZL and ZR buttons for Hunter Arts.
However, Monster Hunter Generations is sold separately from the new hardware and no price has been announced.
If you want a good look at the brand new Monster Hunter 3DS, take a look at Nintendo’s tweet below.
The July 15 release date for Monster Hunter Generations goes against an Amazon listing from earlier this year that had the game coming out on July 31, but fans should be happy that the release date is actually earlier.
Fans will be even happier to learn that a demo will be available this summer, before the July 15 release date. The exact release of the demo will be announced at a later date.
Monster Hunter Generations allows for players to fight brand new monsters in 20 different hunting areas and gives players access to new hunting styles to give Generations a more RPG feel.
