A new update has just dropped in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and it introduced many things, including new Monsties, additional co-op quests, and bug fixes.
Back in July, Capcom vowed to investigate and fix the issues that plagued the game since its release. Fortunately, Update 1.3.0 delivered these fixes, especially for the bug where the final cutscene would just stop playing.
While you are less likely to encounter the bug after updating the game, you should still let the devs know if you experience it in the future. If you do, the devs recommend restarting the game.

New Monsties
The latest update has introduced three new Monsties for you to collect. These are the Oroshi Kirin, Soulseer Mizutsune, and Elderfrost Gammoth.
To get the new Monsties, you have to complete certain quests. For instance, you can obtain the Oroshi Kirin by completing the newly added Ice Phantom subquest. You must first defeat an Oroshi Kirin, after which, you will have the chance to get its Monstie egg.
Of course, you will have to prepare yourself as defeating these new monsters is no easy feat.

- Fixed an issue where an error message appears when accessing multiplayer functions as a result of choosing certain Skin Tones.
- Improved stability to address an issue where the story's final cutscene stopped playing for some players. If you continue to encounter this issue, we recommend restarting the game periodically.
- Fixed an issue where some sound settings do not carry over upon rebooting the game under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue where a change is not reflected in Red's appearance after altering your Rider's appearance with a Character Edit Ticket.
- Fixed an issue where Palamute's scarf looks extended after entering a battle and returning to the field because of a certain condition.
- Fixed an issue where Kulve Taroth's icon and name disappear from the quest description, after completing a certain battle.
- Other miscellaneous bug fixes have been made.
The update requires 0.6 GB of storage space.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is available on Nintendo Switch and PC.
