Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's recent update went live a couple of hours ago. Hotfix e1.7.2 brought several changes and fixes to the multiplayer mode. The banning and penalty system has also been tweaked.

The patch makes sure that a matchmaking is canceled when a player quits during warm-up. The leaver will also get a time-out penalty for leaving. Players who leave during matchmaking games now get an AFK duration tolerance of three minutes instead of five. From now on, any player who finished their placement matches will be shown on the Ranked Leaderboard.

Multiplayer
Crashes
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when all players but one disconnected during a matchmaking game.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when watching an agent die in the first person.
  • Fixed multiple crashes that occurred when a new player connected to a server.
Changes
  • Restored player statistics that were achieved prior to the e1.7.2 patch (merged with the new statistics which means that no progress has been lost).
  • The Ranked Leaderboard now shows all the players that have finished their placement matches.
  • Added a notification that informs the player when the new "Auto-Follow" order is triggered (Captain mode).
  • Matchmaking games now get immediately canceled if a player quits during warm-up. The quitting player receives a time-out penalty for this action.
  • AFK duration tolerance has been reduced from 5 minutes to 3 minutes for players that quit during the matchmaking game.

  • Added a notification that displays additional information if the game crashes during the launch.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is developed and published by TaleWorlds Entertainment. The game is only available on PC and comes with single-player and multiplayer modes. You can purchase the title for only $39.99. However, it is currently in Early Access, so expect some bugs here and there.
