Narcos Season 2 premieres on Netflix Sept. 2. Since the first 11 minutes of Narcos Season 2 episode 1 leaked online, we know Pablo Escobar successfully escapes prison and makes it home to his wife. Thanks to history, we also know that Pablo Escobar dies this season. Now only one question remains: Who killed Pablo Escobar?

So far, there are four suspects: The DEA, the Search Bloc, The Cali Cartel and Los Pepes.

In the Season 1 finale, the special forces raided Escobar’s prison, but he’s nowhere to be found. Season 2 picks up amidst the raid. The special forces, national army, seven dogs and four helicopters search for Escobar outside the prison.

They find him, but Escobar doesn’t surrender. He walks right up to an army of soldiers and says,“I’m sorry, son. I can’t let that happen.” The soldiers lower their weapons and Escobar and his crew walk right past the National Army scot-free.

If history is any indication, The Cali Cartel and the Search Bloc will work together to stop Escobar. After he escaped from prison, The Cali Cartel formed an opposition group, Los Pepes, which is made up of former Medellin Cartel members and anyone ‘persecuted by Pablo Escobar.’

Will DEA agents Steve Murphy and Javier Pena get to Escobar first? Or will Los Pepes, the Search Bloc, or the Cali Cartel fire the bullet? There’s always a chance Netflix will flip the script completely. Escobar’s family believes he actually killed himself as soon as he knew there was no other way out.

Find out which ending Netflix chooses tonight, Sept. 2, at 3:01 a.m. EDT, 12:01 a.m. PDT.
