NBA 2K18 locker code season is here, and one of the first major incentives comes via a recent tweet from the Under Armour Hoops account. If you’re a fan of Steph Curry, here’s some cool unlocks you won’t want to miss.
In celebration of 2K’s #CurryDay festivities, entering the code UACurry4 offers the following benefits: a one-time use Steph Curry Free Agent card for MyTeam, a pair of virtual Curry 4 shoes for your MyPlayer and a Jump Shot Skill Boost upon your next entrance to the Neighborhood. In other words, if you’re looking to grind out a few of those helpful Sharpshooter badges, now might be a good time to do so.
As for MyTeam, we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out the card’s stellar stats. It’s got a 90 overall, with a 99 three-point rating. Just like in the real NBA, having Curry on your roster at the right time could mean victory and, in the game’s case, a huge VC purse. With a free agent, waiting for the opportune time to strike is always advised.
To redeem the code go to MyCareer, bring up your navigation, select “Options” then “Locker Code.” If you’re not able to get to your platform of choice, locker codes can also be entered using the My NBA 2K18 mobile app as well. Especially since it appears this code will only be active for the next 24 hours, those who want the rewards will have to act quickly.
NBA fans or sneaker enthusiasts will know the combo white/black Under Armour Curry 4 shoes went on sale today for $130 and are already sold out in most territories. Today’s launch was preceded the Curry 4 “More Magic” variations on Oct. 5. That version will be primarily sold in China, but was also available at select locations in a few U.S. cities. It will be tough to get a real pair of Curry 4s over the next few weeks or months, but at least your character can wear them.
We’ll offer more updates on standard NBA 2K18 locker codes as they arrive. This one was tied to a real-world event, so its rewards may not be indicative of what we’ll see from other codes in the future.
NBA 2K18 is available now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Switch and PC. This locker code should work across all platforms.
