The much-awaited Vol. 2 update for Need for Speed Unbound is finally here! Aside from new events, this update brought plenty of improvements as well.
Players now have the option to choose a driving tag for each car separately. Driving tags in Need for Speed Unbound are a set of effects that players can see when doing certain things in the game, such as boosting, drifting, and getting airtime.
Those who get lost in the vast Lakeshore City will be happy to know that district names have also been added to the map. In addition, players can now see what other people are up to while they’re on the map.
The developers have also patched up an exploit where players could access extra gears using third-party hardware. For those who don’t know, there was a bug that allowed Logitech G923/G29 users to reach the eighth gear by using the paddles that came with the device. They could take any B-class cars and outrun even the high-end ones just because of this exploit. It’s nice to know that this is no longer a problem in the Vol. 2 update.
