New ‘Arms’ Trailer Focuses On Ninja Weapon, Alternate Fighter Colors Revealed

There are a lot of different weapons coming to Arms for the Nintendo Switch and the official Twitter account for the game has released a short trailer showing off all the things the Chakram weapon can do.

According to the new Arms trailer, the Chakram weapon can curve around obstacles to get to the enemy, allowing for some “tricky” gameplay. Here’s a translation of what was said, courtesy of Siliconera.

Thanks to the latest technology, an ancient ninja weapon has been evolved and mass-produced. This super fine weapon is characterized by its ability to curve its way to the enemy, allowing for a tricky play style. Its size can also be increased by charging up the spin.

If you’ve been wondering whether Arms will allow for mirror matches, the Arms Twitter account also showed a new screenshot that had two Ninjara wearing different colors facing off. Not only does this confirm that mirror matches can be had in local or online play, but that alternate colors for all fighters will be available.

This revelation opens up the possibilities of some awesome color swaps for the Arms fighters. A black and yellow Min Min color swap would be awesome.

Arms will release for Nintendo Switch on June 6.
