Daredevil season 2 on Netflix premieres on March 18, and Marvel has ramped up its promotion for the sophomore season of the acclaimed series with various teasers and photos.
Fans also got a proper season 2 trailer featuring Jon Bernthal as the Punisher. The trailer is haunting and will get anyone who was a fan of Daredevil season 1 hyped for the next installment.
But since the announcement that a second trailer featuring Elektra would appear before the March 18 release date, fans have been waiting.
Well, Marvel has released a brief teaser showing Elodie Yung as Elektra fighting ninjas with the tagline, “you can’t escape the past.” Take a look at the first clip of Elektra in action.

The first Daredevil season 2 trailer was released a day after the Daredevil Twitter account released a Punisher teaser, so it’s likely we will be getting the second trailer featuring Elektra very soon, most likely by the end of the week.
With the inclusion of the Punisher and Elektra, season 2 will be bigger than the first. Fans still don’t know how Kingpin fits into all of this, if he’s even involved in this season, and how it all may tie into Jessica Jones and the rest of the Defenders series moving forward.
