Entertainment Weekly got their hands on three new clips from Season 6 of Game of Thrones , but while the first two are from scenes we’ll see in the April 24 premiere, the third includes footage from Episode 2 of the new season.
The first clip is all about Cersei’s aberrant grieving process as she worries about her rotting corpse daughter.
The second clip from the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere shows Theon and Sansa fleeing from the walls of Winterfell. Chances are good this moment comes right before what The Telegraph called the biggest applause line of the premiere: the duo slamming headlong into Brienne of Tarth.
Finally, we have our first look at the second episode of the new season. This clip shows the Dothraki capital, Vaes Dothrak , as we’ve never seen it before. This time Daenerys will experience Dothraki society not as a feted royal, but as a prisoner.
Out of context these clips don’t do much, but we’ll see how they slot in with the rest of the action when Game of Thrones returns on April 24.
