Amazon Games’ New World is now available and the developers have implemented a new update that will hopefully make things a lot smoother than in the beta stages of the game.
While the patch mostly contains bug fixes, there are still some notable changes that can be expected. Because a lot of people will likely play the game, the devs have fixed the spawn rates of certain characters required for quest completion, such as Master Henry, Gheist Maliko, and Pastor Walsh. This helps new players progress through the story faster, especially if someone has already killed them before they got to their location.
For combat changes, PvP damage scaling has been adjusted to lessen the gap between high-level and low-level players. In addition, even though the game has an anti-cheat system in place, the devs have also implemented extra protection against speed hacks, preventing such programs from running in the first place.
If you have plans of streaming the game, you can utilize the new streamer mode that lets you hide notifications and avoid interaction with other people, thereby improving the overall experience while you play.
