After several beta tests, Amazon Game Studios finally launched New World's second season, Blood of the Sands. So, what is the new and exciting stuff awaiting players? Read on to learn more.
Embark on a New Journey
Players who have completed the season one storyline can now enjoy the new journey that season two has to offer. In this new seasonal story, players will learn about an ancient group called Blood of the Sands. Their leader, Malek, has come out of the shadows to recruit brave warriors in a quest to find and eliminate the eggs of the fearsome giant sandworm called Shah Neshen, aka the Devourer.
Join Rima the Bard, along with the Silver Crows, to uncover the secrets behind this ancient order and why it's important for them to destroy the Devourer at all costs.
New Goodies
Season two brought a new season pass filled with exciting goodies, including seasonal armor skins, weapon skins, tool skins, emotes, and many others. Just like in the previous season, all players can get the contents of the free track. But those who spend some money can get even more with the premium track.

Premium Track

- 1 standard Legendary weapon (guaranteed 600 Gear Score, empty Gem slot, and 3 Perks) and 2 rolled standard weapons (590 to 595 Gear Score depending on the player's Expertise, empty Gem slot, and 2 Perks).

- 1 piece of standard Legendary Jewelry (guaranteed 600 Gear Score, empty Gem slot, and 3 Perks) and 2 pieces of standard Jewelry (590 to 595 Gear Score depending on the player's Expertise, empty Gem slot, and 2 Perks).

Transmog System
While not available at the moment, Amazon Game Studios will be adding the Transmog System to New World in a mid-season update. This feature lets players customize their characters even further without sacrificing stats. By using consumable Transmog tokens, they can capture the appearance of any gear they've collected and transform it into usable skin for their cosmetic collection.
