While some units enjoy massive improvements, the same cannot be said for snipers. Snipers are nerfed so much that they now require spotters to be effective when taking out targets.
This patch also adds support for public servers. Now, players can choose to put up their servers that specifically tackle the main campaign or the new Cataclysm Mode.

The way neutral items are dropped have been reworked and now better for everyone in the team. There are also seven new items added to the pool of neutral items.
Ogre Magi is officially a strength hero but max intelligence is zero, always. Arc Warden can now bring out a duplicate, with abilities having an even greater effect.
