The first Nintendo Direct since the release of the Switch is almost here and while it will focus on two huge Switch games, Splatoon 2 and Arms, there’s plenty of other Switch and Nintendo 3DS news expected.
Nintendo’s latest Direct will begin Wednesday, April 12 at 6 p.m. EST and will look to give updates on some of the company’s upcoming Nintendo Switch and 3DS games . Fans should expect the release dates for both Splatoon 2 (originally slated for a summer release) and Arms (slated for a May release), while also getting some more information on gameplay for both titles.
What fans shouldn’t expect are any huge announcements like a Super Smash Bros. port or a new Pokémon game. Those will likely be kept until E3 in June.
So if you’re looking to watch the April 12 Nintendo Direct online, you can head over to the official Nintendo website, which will have the entire Direct when it starts.
If you’d rather watch it on YouTube, you can visit the official Nintendo of America YouTube channel that will stream it live at 6 p.m. EST. The channel will also upload the entire broadcast shortly after the stream ends.
The stream won’t appear until a few minutes before the Nintendo Direct starts, but we will update with the video when it does.
Nintendo’s Twitch channel will also have the April 12 Direct and you can watch it when it goes live below.
