The closed beta for Paragon rolls on, giving thousands of players a chance to better familiarize themselves with Epic Games’ new MOBA during its ongoing early access period, but an influx of new Paragon players is apparently just around the corner.
It’s been two months since Paragon first opened its doors to the general public, or at least those willing to drop $20 on a Founder’s Pack , a burgeoning community is already starting to spring up around the new MOBA. But it sounds like Epic Games is ready to see a few more people on its servers because the studio has announced plans to host another free beta weekend, welcoming anyone interesting in Paragon to try out the game for a few days.
According to Epic Games, the next free beta weekend will begin on May 26 , and continue through May 30, ensuring millions of gamers have at least one new game to play Memorial Day weekend, if their current collection is beginning to feel a bit stale. The studio says all 16 of Paragon’s existing characters will be available for use, including the recently released GRIM.exe.Those hoping to participate in the beta will also need to register for a Paragon account by the end of May 25. PS4 users will also need to link their PSN account.
For more information on the upcoming free beta weekend, take a couple of minutes to read the announcement post over on the Paragon website. Or, to get a closer look at the partially-released MOBA, check out the latest Paragon trailer from the folks at Epic Games.
Paragon is currently in development for PS4 and PC. Access to the game can be purchased now, via a Founder’s Pack, and Paragon will be free-to-play when it debuts later this year.
