Are you playing Path of Exile? If so, you’re probably aware that the majority of people usually play once a new league is available. However, some prefer staying in the Standard league, especially if they want stability and casual gaming. If you’re in the same boat, then you will be happy with the latest update.
Map Stash Conversion Fixed
At the start of a new league, the maps found on the Atlas will change regions. Thus, old ones would have to be converted to the new series if you want to continue your progression.
If you are not aware, there was this problem in Standard where you cannot turn your old maps to new ones even if you click on the “Convert” button. The developers at Grinding Gear Games knew about this for a long time, but it was only until recently that they fixed it.
Now, the functionality of such stashes has been changed to resolve the issue. There are several things to keep in mind. The first map stash you purchased will automatically be converted to support the current league’s map series.
Assuming that your stash is not empty at the start of a new league, all maps stored there will be changed to “remove-only.” Don’t worry, you will get a new one that’s set to the latest series.
You can only change the series on a map stash if you still have at least one non-remove-only stash set to the current series. Meaning, you cannot set a map stash to store legacy maps if you only bought one.
If you do not have the money to buy many, you can contact GGG and ask for a refund if your sole map stash is meant merely to keep old maps.
You can learn more about this change by heading to the game’s official website.
