The roguelite cooking management sim PlateUp! has a new update that you don’t want to miss! Patch 1.1.2 adds support for mods via the Steam Workshop and a new main dish that is a staple in many households during the holidays.
Mod Support
You can now download PlateUp! mods in the Steam Workshop. There are a handful of cool mods that you need to try out.
One of the best mods out there is called Save System. This mod basically allows you to save multiple runs at the same time. To do this, just open the pause menu while in-game and click save. If you want to load a save, simply head to the Lobby, open up the pause menu, and then select the saved data you want.
If you want to play in a custom kitchen, the Kitchen Designer mod is for you! This mod enables you to design and customize your dream kitchen. If that’s not your thing, you can also try out the custom designs made by other people.
Cards in PlateUp! provide you with different challenges depending on which ones come up. From introducing new foods that your customers can pick to conditions that increase the number of people coming in your restaurant, these cards can permanently change the course of your run.
That said, there’s a particular mod that gives you a new card every day instead of every third day. The mod’s creator is planning to add new features soon, including the option to choose how often you want the cards to show up, as well as the ability to change the frequency of decoration days.
Aside from mod support, Patch 1.1.2 also adds Turkey to the menu. Customers might want to add Cranberry Sauce or Gravy as well, which can happen depending on the cards that you will receive.
