Sony has revealed the upcoming titles coming to the PlayStation Plus mid-August 2022 Games Catalog, and it’s headlined by not only three Yakuza titles but some heavy hitters within other genres as well. These new games coming to the service will be part of the Premium and Extra tiers of the newly-launched PlayStation Plus service. Besides the six headliners, six more games will also be making their way to the service starting August 16, making for 12 new games added to PlayStation Plus.
PlayStation Plus Mid-August 2022 Games Catalog (to be added on August 16)
- Bugsnax (PS5, PS4) – the sleeper hit creature collector that was one of the first major releases on PlayStation 5 will be joining the PlayStation Plus service later this month. Collect half-bug, half-snack oddities in this weird and kind-of horrific game featuring over 100 different creatures and more. Bugsnax is also available on PC via Steam.
- Dead by Daylight (PS5, PS4) – the hit asymmetrical horror multiplayer title from Behaviour Interactive makes its way to the service later this month, bringing a plethora of content native to the game and other popular horror franchises. Play as either a lone Killer or part of a group of Survivors, featuring a vast cast of characters. Dead by Daylight is also available across all other platforms.
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands (PS4) – the first open-world Ghost Recon entry initially released in 2017 was also considered a fine return to form for the series that stagnated before. It features a group of Ghosts deep within the regions of Bolivia as they battle a cartel known as Santa Blanca with the help of La Unidad, a local special forces group tasked with battling Santa Blanca by any means. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is also available on Xbox consoles and PC via Steam, the Ubisoft Store, and several other storefronts.
Three Yakuza games will be made available to the service starting August 16, including:
- Yakuza 0
- Yakuza Kiwami
- Yakuza Kiwami 2
