Looks like it’s a good year to be a PlayStation player. Sony Interactive Entertainment launched a new PlayStation Plus game subscription service in North America and South America. This new service allows for more flexibility and more value for gamers.
The service was first rolled out in Asia back in May. Later this month, it’s coming to Europe and Australia.
In a statement, Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan revealed that the global launch of the new PlayStation Plus represents a big evolution of the subscription service. Ryan added that fans around the world can now enjoy hundreds of games available in the catalog of the subscription service. He also said that this service has a high caliber of content which will continue to grow. He ended by saying that they are happy with the support of the community over the years.
