Adventure Week is returning to Pokémon GO to see the official debut of Mega Tyranitar in Mega Raids. Meanwhile, trainers who are lucky enough get a chance to encounter a Shiny Tyrunt or Shiny Amaura. The event starts July 27 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) and ends August 2 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).
Before we go into details about this event, let's start with the bonuses:
- 2× XP for spinning PokéStops.
- 5× XP for spinning a PokéStop for the first time.
- 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.
Timed Research
During the event, two Timed Research are available. The first is a paid one which costs $2 and it tasked trainers to complete exploration tasks. Doing so will reward them with two Incubators, a Super Incubator, and even encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
