The last big Pokémon Go update added over 80 new Pokémon from the Johto region, but it also changed attacks, Pokémon CP and even the rate at which certain Pokémon hatch from eggs.
Egg hatching rates has been tested since the Gen 2 update in late February and a certain Reddit user on The Silph Road subreddit created a chart to not only show how often trainers get 2 km, 5 km and 10 km eggs, but which Pokémon appear in each and at what rate.
Check out the chart, here.
Some highlights of the Pokémon Go egg chart for Gen 2 Pokémon show that the rarest Pokémon that hatch from 2 km are Misdreavus (.87%) and Remoraid (1.74%).
Wobbuffet, Yanma, Qwilfish, Sneasel, Girafarig, Shuckle and Dunsparce are the rarest Pokémon in 5 km eggs, appearing only .62 percent of the time.
Skarmory and Miltank are the rarest of the Pokémon found in 10 km eggs, appearing at a 2.57 percent clip. Mareep and Sudowoodo appear 5.13 percent of the time in 10 km eggs.
The chart also states that the Gen 2 starters, Cyndaquil, Chikorita and Totodile are not hatchable in Pokémon Go . There are 13 other Johto Pokémon that are not hatchable and there are some Gen 1 Pokémon that used to be hatchable, Magikarp for example, that are now unobtainable via eggs.
