The Hoenn Region is finally coming to Pokémon Go and with it more than 50 new Pokémon that you can catch or battle. While The Pokémon Company has confirmed some of the Gen 3 Pokémon in Pokémon Go ’s latest update, we can guess most of the others that will spawn around the world.
Some of these Pokémon selections are based on the evolutions of the confirmed Pokémon, while others were discovered through the official trailer, press release and in promotional images.
Here’s all of the confirmed Gen 3 Pokémon coming to Pokémon Go.

CONFIRMED THROUGH PRESS RELEASE
These Pokémon are confirmed through the official Pokémon Go press release. This confirms the Hoenn starter Pokémon as well as some other Pokémon. After adding the evolutions, there are 22 confirmed names.

POKEMON GO GEN 3 TRAILER
The official Pokémon Go Gen 3 trailer showed off Hoenn Pokémon that were not included in the press release. After finding them, and adding their pre-evolutions, there are nine Pokémon confirmed through the trailer.

PROMOTIONAL IMAGES
The Pokémon Company and Niantic released promotional images with the Gen 3 update announcement. While some of these Pokémon were found in the Nearby tracker others were blatantly shown on the official Pokémon website.
With the evolutions and pre-evolutions, there are 27 Pokémon confirmed bringing the total to 48 but we believe Taillow and Swellow will bring the total to 50.
