The Halloween event is back in Pokémon GO, and like last year, it has two parts. Part I starts October 20 until October 27, and it features Mega Banette, officially debuting in Mega Raids.
For the event bonuses, players can look forward to:
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for hatching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon.
- Trainers level 31 and above receive one guaranteed Candy XL when walking with their buddy.
Special Research
For this event, trainers are asked to assist Professor Willow and Rhi in a Halloween-themed Special Research. Along the way, they'll learn more not just about Yamask but also Galarian Yamask. By the way, trainers have the chance to encounter Shiny Galarian Yamask, a first in the game.
Special Research is available to claim from October 20 to November 1.
Timed Research
There's also Timed Research available in addition to the Special Research. However, trainers need to buy a ticket if they want to join the Timed Research. The ticket details are:
- Ticket 1
- For $1, trainers are given access to Timed Research, which feature encounters with Yamask and Galarian Yamask.
- Ticket 2
- For $5 tickets, get access to Timed Research, which offers:
