The Pokémon Go Plus is now available in most parts of the world and with it comes a brand new update for the popular mobile game.

Pokémon Go version 1.7 has begun rolling out for iOS devices, while Android version 0.37 has not yet shown up in the Google Play Store, but will be arriving very soon according to the official Pokémon Go Twitter account.

While the patch notes for Pokémon Go Version 1.7 were already released and unlocked the Buddy System, the next update will add support for the Pokémon Go Plus. While there are no official patch notes, the App Store page has some information on what you can expect when you update.

Pokémon Go 1.7 patch gives the following new features:

Pokémon Go stability improvements, added a quick help when you first connect the Pokémon Go Plus and, of course, minor text fixes.

Some trainers on the Pokémon Go subreddit have noticed a lack of stardust when Pokémon are caught using the Plus. Perhaps this will be fixed, but until the official patch notes are released we won’t know for sure.

We will update the story when official patch notes are released and when the Android version 0.37 is rolled out. But until then, let us know how you are enjoying the Pokémon Go Plus in the comments section below.
