The final Mythical Pokémon distribution is here and trainers can get their hands on Meloetta, one of the rarest Pokémon in all the games.
In December, trainers who own Pokémon X and Y or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire can download Meloetta through the Mystery Gift function.
To download Meloetta, you’ll need to boot up your game and go to the MYSTERY GIFT tab. Select RECEIVE GIFT and then GET VIA INTERNET. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be given your own special Meloetta; just be sure you’re in a spot that has a good internet connection.
The Meloetta distribution begins Dec. 1 and continues until Dec. 24, so be sure to download Meloetta before then or you’ll miss out.
Meloetta, the Normal and Psychic-type Pokémon, comes at Level 100 with the Serene Grace ability and the attacks, Quick Attack, Confusion and Round. While these moves aren’t the best, Meloetta can learn a lot of TMs so be sure to check out what it can learn.
However, the one move you’ll want to teach Meloetta is its signature attack, Relic Song. This move will change Meloetta into its Pirouette Form, making the Pokémon a Normal and Fighting-type.
Meloetta can only learn Relic Song through a Move Tutor. In Pokémon X and Y, you’ll find the Move Tutor in Snowbelle City. In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire you’ll find the Move Tutor in Mauville City.
