Pokémon Sun and Moon is getting closer and closer to its November release date and the rumors and supposed leaks keep pouring in. But the latest Sun and Moon leak supposedly has the entire Alolan Pokedex, complete with names and typings.
There has already been a lot of Pokémon revealed already and the new Alola forms of older Pokémon gives fans, essentially, new Pokémon to choose from.
However, this 4Chan thread -- far from the most reliable source -- supposedly has the entire Sun and Moon Pokedex. But before we go into it, you should know:
SPOILER ALERT! The following can potentially spoil the Pokémon and events of Pokémon Sun and Moon so if you don’t want to be spoiled turn back now.
According to this 4Chan list, there are a little more than 100 new Pokémon in Sun and Moon.
We won’t post the entire list here but you can easily check it out on 4Chan (linked above) but we did want to point out some interesting tidbits from the list and some inconsistencies from other leaks.
First off, the Alola starters final evolutions seem to have varying typings. Rowlet, Litten and Popplio’s starters all have the Grass, Fire and Water typings respectively but their secondary typings, according to this leak, change. Does this mean that the secondary typing can change based on the island or another new mechanic? Time will tell.
We also have Rockruff, who when it was revealed in CoroCoro was said to have a link with the starters. This leak shows that Rockruff’s evolution also have a varied secondary typing that may be changed.
This seems plausible considering Oricorio changes typings based on the island you find it on. However, there are plenty of inconsistencies with this 4Chan list.
The Chinese leak that revealed the final starter evolutions also said that Sun and Moon will have Pokémon based on a dolphin, snowman and sea cucumber. This 4Chan list has all of that but the Chinese leak also has Marshadow with a unique typing but this list makes Marshadow a Dark and Fire-type, not a unique typing.
There’s also the fact that there seems to be no fossil Pokémon on this list. Pokémon Gold and Silver were the only games without new fossil Pokémon but the lack of them in this 4Chan list puts up a red flag for us.
