After the promise of an “exclusive scoop” regarding Pokémon Sun and Moon coming in June, CoroCoro has posted a new trailer that gives a glimpse at a brand new Pokémon.

While the Sun and Moon trailer is the exact same as the English one we got on May 10, it does show a few clips of the protagonist leaving their house and running by some people.

The big news is in that short clip we got to see a brand new Pokémon in the overworld of Sun and Moon . Here’s the CoroCoro trailer with the new Pokémon appearing around the :12 mark.

Pokémon Sun and Moon ’s new region is called the Alola Region and is based on Hawaii, which means many of the region’s Pokémon could be inspired by animals from this part of the world.

Small mammals native to Hawaii are few, as most are marine-based mammals like sea lions. But the Indian Mongoose is one of the few land mammals on the islands, according to Wildlife of Hawaii. But at first glance, it looks like another species of deer, which Hawaii has plenty of, especially with what look like horns sprouting from its head.

Pokémon Sun and Moon are set to release Nov. 18.

Well we want to hear your thoughts on what this new Pokémon could be in the comments section below and let us know if you’ll be getting Sun or Moon when the games come out this November.
