Pokémon Sun and Moon will release on Nov. 18 (Nov. 23 in Europe) but it seems someone got a hold of a copy early and has begun leaking screenshots and information on various sites around the internet.

SPOILER WARNING! If you don’t want to be spoiled and go into Sun and Moon fresh you will definitely want to avoid the rest of this post.

The Sun and Moon leaker has released several screenshots of Rowlet and its base stats, and the evolved form of Pikipek. The options menu Sun and Moon was also shown and include toggling Battle Effects, Battle Style and Text Speed like previous games.

We have reached out to Nintendo for a statement on the validity of the screenshots and we will update as soon as we learn more.

Pokémon Sun and Moon leaking before its release is nothing new. In 2013 when X and Y were leaked before its release date, players found out about Mega Pokémon that were not revealed as well as some story elements.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were a different story as most, if not all, of the information surrounding the Gen 3 remakes were revealed. However, most of the changes and secrets were datamined when the ORAS demo was released.

Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie were revealed and data miners found all of the base stats to Mega Pokémon and the changes to movesets.

The demo for Sun and Moon did not have any movesets or base stats, but it did have the sprites for the entire Alola Dex (or at least part of it).

Do you like Sun and Moon being leaked before its release? What did you take away from the recent round of leaks?
