The Sept. 14 announcement from The Pokémon Company was not a new Pokémon Sun and Moon trailer but confirmation of the two new Ultra Beasts f rom the last issue of CoroCoro.
Ultra Beast 02 Beauty and Expansion were revealed in CoroCoro and are version exclusives. There is a scene where Beauty or Expansion fight Tapu Koko depending on the version you are playing.
UPDATE: The latest Sun and Moon trailer was uploaded and shows the new Ultra Beasts in action.
The Japanese Pokémon site has updated with the information about the Beauty and Expansion Ultra Beasts but outside of some high quality screenshots and official images, there isn’t much else.
According to Serebii, Expansion is said to have a probiscus that is stronger than diamond while Beauty is so fast it can outrun lightning.
However, the Pokémon site does say that there are more Ultra Beasts than the three that were shown. If you recall, UB 01 was the jellyfish Ultra Beast that was shown in the last Pokémon Sun and Moon trailer. This Ultra Beast has not been given a name but it does look familiar.
Not much else was revealed, but the official Japanese site said that Tuesday, Sept. 20 will be the next time more information is released.
Perhaps Rockruff’s unique evolution , which was shown in September’s issue of CoroCoro along with two new Ultra Beasts, will be featured. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long for the next batch of reveals.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is set to release Nov. 18. A limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL featuring Solgaleo and Lunala will release on Oct. 27
