Pokémon Sun and Moon is changing up the formula of the past Pokémon games by eliminating HMs, and the traditional Pokémon League. Now it seems Sun and Moon will look to change how the Box Legendaries will be obtained.
Solgaleo and Lunala have been revealed for some time now and the recent introduction of Cosmog and its connection to Lillie have given rise to a ton of theories, and the latest bit of leaked news may confirm some of that speculation.
SPOILER WARNING! The following will likely spoil the plot of Pokémon Sun and Moon, if you don’t want to know, don’t proceed any further.
Some listings for the Sun and Moon Pokémon TCG boxes -- via PokeJungle -- have begun to pop up online and feature Solgaleo and Lunala. However, the cards (which you can see below) signify that both are evolutions.
Further, if you squint and look closer Cosmog isn’t shown as the Pokémon that evolves into Solgaleo and Lunala. The Pokémon shown was discovered in the demo leaks when the special Sun and Moon demo was released.
Does this mean Solgaleo and Lunala are the final stage of a three-stage evolution? It’s quite possible, with Cosmog being the first stage and then the leaked Pokémon being the second. And it will evolve either into Solgaleo or Lunala, depending on the version you are playing.
This is all unconfirmed so take this possible leak with a grain of salt.
Pokémon Sun and Moon release Nov. 18.
So what do you think of Solgaleo and Lunala possibly being evolved Pokémon? Which version are you choosing? Let us know in the comments section below.
