A free update is releasing to Jurassic World Evolution 2 and there's going to be exciting features to be added. For starters, there are the prebuilt layouts which is sure to make a lot of players.
You see one of the main features of the game is being able to build those intricate Sandbox parks. Players can simply jump into a fresh map and then treat it as a blank canvas that's ready to be filled with those wonderful designs. However, there are those who may want a little help at the start and this is where prebuilt layouts come into play. These prebuilds are available as options in Sandbox Mode and Custom Challenge Mode.
Once the Update 8 goes live, players should be able to find preset starting layouts on these maps:
- Isla Nublar 1993
- San Diego
- Isla Sorna
- Isla Nublar 2015
- Arizona
- Washington State
- Oregon
- California
- United Kingdom
- Sierra Nevada (Dominion Biosyn Expansion)
- San Albertus (Dominion Malta Expansion)
- San Marie (Dominion Malta Expansion)
- Santaegidius (Dominion Malta Expansion)
New Dinosaur Variants

- Allosaurus 2022
- Dimorphodon 2022
- Pteranodon 2001
- Brachiosaurus 2001
- Stegosaurus 1997

There are a lot more features and changes to be introduced with Update 8. These include:
- Species Unlock Shuffling
- Partially randomize the order in which species can be unlocked on the tech tree for both Custom Challenge and Sandbox mode.
