The prison management simulator Prison Architect is getting the new Jungle Pack. This one is set in a tropical forest with players now tasked to manage a prison compound in the jungle. This upcoming pack comes complete with wooden constructions, new customization options, and even a febrile threat.
The Jungle Pack arrives February 7 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, priced at $2.99.
The new pack gives players the chance to manage their inmates in a tropical environment far from civilization for a real challenge. Since the compound is in the jungle, players will be provided wooden furniture, new walls, and new door types, and even an option to build an outdoor cinema. However, the risk this time is tropical fever which inmates can contract. Thus, players need to come up with advanced medical treatment if they want to fight against this threat.

- New flooring types, with five types to try out including the one specific for water.

- The jungle has new trees, which can be farmed and sold, or even chopped down for lumber.
- Some wood variants can be used for different structures like guard towers or drains, to name a few.
Free Update
In addition to a new pack, there's also a free update arriving on the same day. Titled The Jailhouse, it features quality-of-life improvements that include:
- Changes to guard behavior.
- Improvements to quick build materials.
- A small makeover of the deployment scheduler.
- The addition of Toby, a Yorkshire Terrier dog.
This update also makes balancing changes to the Identity Thief reputation along with other in-game effects.
