Monster Hunter World: Iceborne was a big hit at E3, as Capcom spent all three days of the event showcasing this massive expansion to attendees and its thousands of viewers on streaming platforms.
Now, Capcom is starting to roll out new plans for the September release date of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. This includes two beta tests exclusive to PlayStation 4 users only, one of the two platforms that will see Iceborne's release in September.
The first beta test will kick off this Friday, on June 21. It will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers, running from June 21 to June 24. Below are the times in various time zones.
- NA East – June 21 6:00AM ET to June 24 6:00AM ET
- NA West – June 21 3:00AM PT to June 24 3:00AM PT
- Britain – June 21 11:00AM BST to June 24 11:00AM BST
- Central Europe – June 21 12:00PM CEST to June 24 12:00PM CEST

The second beta test will be much more expansive, and will be made available to all PlayStation 4 owners. It will kick off next week on Friday, June 28, and run until Monday, July 1. Below are the times in various time zones.

It’s important to note that participating players do not need to own a copy of Monster Hunter: World, the base game, to take part in the Iceborne beta. Capcom has also stated that this beta will offer three quests:
- A hunt for the Great Jagras, one of the earliest missions in Monster Hunter: World.
- A hunt for Banbaro, a brand-new horned brute wyvern, one of the monsters that will be introduced in Iceborne.
- A hunt for Tigrex, a returning monster from the Monster Hunter franchise.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be released this September 6 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version is expected to come this winter.
