Quidditch Champions shared a new gameplay trailer showcasing the upcoming Harry Potter game's mechanics and various features, including customization.
Warner Bros' latest reveal gives players a glimpse of Quidditch Champions' stylized graphics, gameplay, and character-creator tool. One thing to note is that players are not required to make their own characters.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions' Gameplay Trailer
The game will feature iconic Harry Potter characters that you can choose from, including Harry Potter himself, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malfoy.
Another thing is that Quidditch Champions will let you choose from a variety of brooms to use when playing the iconic game.
Quidditch Champions also features a solo campaign mode as well as an online multiplayer mode when you're ready to test your skills against other players. The game will retail for $30 and will launch digitally on Sept. 3, 2024, for console and PC, according to GameSpot.
Furthermore, for the first month after release, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to play it at no additional cost. There will be a physical edition released for Xbox and PlayStation on Nov. 8, 2024, as well as a Nintendo Switch version later this year.
Unbroken Studios is responsible for developing the upcoming Harry Potter game and the studio was previously known for co-developing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Quidditch Champions is the second Harry Potter game in as many years following the release of Hogwarts Legacy in 2023.
Another thing to note is that pre-orders for the digital Editions are now open and those who pre-order the Standard Edition or Deluxe Edition, will get the Firebolt Supreme Broom skin as a bonus, said WizardingWorld.
Showcasing Various Features
Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of Quidditch Champions will also get some extra rewards, including all four House Packs.
These will have a ton of stuff, including your house's version of the Stormrider Hurricane Broom Skin to your Travel School Uniform as well as the House Crest.
The latest gameplay trailer also showed off some very familiar faces from the Harry Potter universe. It also showcased different wizarding world locations that fans of the series might be familiar with, such as the Quidditch World Cup Stadium.
Regarding the prices, the Digital Standard Edition will cost $29.99 while the Digital and Physical Deluxe Editions will cost you $39.99.
Warner Bros. also said that there are currently no plans to have microtransactions in the game, noting that Gold can only be earned through gameplay progression, according to IGN.
