Rainbow Six Siege Brasileirao League 2021 just concluded its second playday and the results are here. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the matches have been held online. Teams clashed and showed some exciting matches to watch this week.
The first match between Made in Brazil and Ninjas In Pyjamas was played on Kafe Dostoyevsky. The Ash ban from MIBR was surprising but also understandable because NIP is a very aggressive team. You don't want the quick Ash under the hands of an aggressive player to go toe-to-toe with you.
NIP used Castle to barricade the access points to Jewelry, Piano, and Stage, which denied MIBR’s entry into the site. However, this strategy has been used by several other teams. So while MIBR countered that barricade easily, they lacked something to mitigate NIP’s combative playstyle in later rounds. This allowed NIP to take a 4-2 advantage on the defense.
Most viewers expected the map to go overtime as Kafe is notably defender-sided. But NIP cut off every single rotation and got their entry kills with ease, which led to winning the map with a 7-3 scoreline. NIP’s Gustavo "Psycho" Rigal carried his team with 13 kills.
The second match was between Team One and INTZ, which was played in Clubhouse. INTZ’s João "DRUNKKZZ" Giordano had a lucky time in Kitchen since Team One didn’t drone him out. This let DRUNKKZZ get a double kill and stall the round for as long as possible. Yet Team One realized their mistake and switched up their playstyle. The switch was a success with every round in their favor till overtime. Team One got 5-1 for the first half.
In the second half, INTZ did everything they could but simply had a really difficult time entering into sites and getting kills. They seemed to lack what was needed to break Team One’s crossfires and gun skills. As such, Team One won the match with a 7-2 scoreline.
