Rainbow Six Siege Brasileirao League 2021 just concluded its first playday and the results are here. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the matches have been held online. Teams clashed and showed some exciting matches to watch this week.
The first match was between Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas played in Oregon. TL's André "nesk" Oliveira aced on round three playing Lesion. He started out by getting a kill in the dorms site and followed it with a quad kill in the meeting area as NIP was trying to push him. While TL took the first half with a 4-2 scoreline, NIP changed the momentum after switching their playstyle on defense, which tied the score 5-5.
After a couple of rounds, TL figured out what NIP was doing and decided to go more aggressive, and it worked as they won the match with a 7-5 scoreline. Nesk played a vital role for TL with 12 kills and clutched a round.
The second match was between Team One and Black Dragons and was also played in Oregon. Black Dragons were quite efficient with their attacks for three rounds as they took control of every part of the map and successfully planted the bomb. Team One couldn't retaliate against BD’s push, but they somehow managed to get two rounds in the first half. After Team One switched to attack, they sunk deeper due to poor gameplay and unable to get even a single round.
Thus, BD won the match with a 7-2 scoreline and Vinícius "live" Santos carried the team with 15 kills playing entry operators.
