Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is finally available and gives players the chance to test out their skills against a deadly and mutating alien threat. This new tactical PvE co-op experience features full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Google Stadia. It's also playable on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
Meet the Operators
In the game, players get to choose from a line-up of 18 Operators from Rainbow Six Siege. They've all been reworked and now have new abilities and attributes. Nomad, for example, initially makes use of the AK-74M at the start and will unlock additional weapons throughout the game. She can shoot proximity mines and knock back enemies caught in the blast. Then, there's Sledge who starts off with the M590A1 shotgun and whose ability allows him to wield a hammer that can stun parasites as well as destroy walls to create new paths.

The Alien Threat
The game has players go against the Chimera parasite and its evolving Archæans. There are at least 10 parasitic archetypes that players can encounter. There's the Tormentor which can produce a barrage of projectiles while being able to shapeshift quickly in and out of Sprawl to assault its target. The Apex meanwhile is a summoner that can call other Archæans to fight by its side.

Players can take on different mission types spread across 12 containment zones, which are:

- Liberty Island
- Police Station
- Monolith Gardens
- San Francisco
- Tenderloin
- Apollo Casino and Resort
- Enterprise Space Foundation
- State of Alaska
- Nome
- Eurydice Valley
- Orpheus Research Center
- The Town of Truth or Consequences
- Sierra County Hospital
- Dam
- Downtown
Buddy Pass
One of the ways to enjoy the game is to play it with friends. With the Buddy Pass, players can invite two friends to play 14 days of Rainbow Six Extraction for free and from any platform. This is possible even if those same friends don't own the game. Read more about it here.
