Rainbow Six Siege’s Colorful tournament just concluded its second playday for winner bracket matches. The tournament has a prize pool of $1,500, which is a pretty high amount for the South Asia competitive scene. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the matches will be held online instead of the more traditional LAN environment. The prize pool of the tournament will be split and awarded to the top two teams who will compete in the finals. You can find the prize pool details here.

The ongoing Colorful tournament is a double-elimination based competition, where teams will have to win every match or drop down to the loser bracket. You can watch live streams of every game on the Colorful Bangladesh Facebook page.

The most exciting matchup for the second playday was between MercenarieZ and KIRA Esports. The match was played on Clubhouse, which is a very strategy-heavy map. The match was super exciting to watch, as we got to see both the teams from the South Asia major compete against each other again. MrcZ was able to win the match with a 7-4 scoreline, as they showed some variations of the SSG roam strategy which helped them win their defenses in church/arsenal bombsite.

Another exciting match to watch was between Virtual5 Esports and LevelZero Esports. This match was played on Villa, which is a super utility-heavy map and recently also received some changes to its color scheme. It was clear that a well-structured team like V5 would take the map over a frag-heavy team such as LevelZero. V5 was able to win the match with a 7-3 scoreline, proving their dominance on Villa.

So, what are your thoughts on the Colorful tournament for Rainbow Six Siege? Did you enjoy all the matches during the playdays? Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
