The NA Six Invitational Qualifiers match between Disrupt Gaming and Beastcoast has concluded. The matches were played in a best of three series.
The first map of the series was Clubhouse. DG had an explosive first round with Nick "njr" Rapier getting a quad kill playing Zofia, by just standing outside the CCTV breach. DG countered Beastcoast pretty well but they heavily relied on njr's and Jack "J90" Burkard's fragging skills. Sadly, we didn’t get to see any impressive plays. Most teams are likely reserving them for the Six Invitational.
Beastcoast played much better on the attack. However, it didn’t matter as DG was too far ahead for Beastcoast to overcome. DG took the first map with njr fragging enemies and having 14 kills with operators like Zofia and Kaid. J90 closely followed njr with 10 kills playing flex operators like Maestro.
The second map was on Oregon. Nothing special occurred on the map. Both teams just exchanged blows. In the end, Beastcoast took the map with a 7-4 scoreline.
The final map was Villa. Beastcoast started out on defense, which made it difficult for DG to counter their unpredictable playstyle. Beastcoast cleared the first half with a 4-2 scoreline. That's quite impressive since DG knows the map well.
Beastcoast on attack showed a completely new dimension. They opted for operators like Ying, and two hard breachers to enter the site with ease. The operator picks got DG confused and Beastcoast took full advantage of it and won the map with a 7-4 scoreline. It was sad to see DG lose, especially with Alexander "Retro" Lloyd playing support and having 12 frags.
