Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will soon get some much-needed balancing changes. We can make this prediction because the developer has revealed the Designer’s Notes for the Y7S4.2 mid-season update. The patch will first go live on the test server before hitting the main build.
The extended barrel attachment is getting a big buff, as equipping it will result in 15% more damage. Twitch’s F2 is losing the Vertical Grip attachment, but she is getting one more normal drone (total 2). After the patch, Twitch will have four drones: two normal and two shock drones.
Grim is a little too weak, so his primary weapon Commando 552 is getting 1.5x and 2.0x weapon sights. Frost’s 9MM C1 weapon is proving stronger than expended, so its damage output is reduced to 36 from the previous 45. Supernova shotgun damage is increased to 55.
