Rainbow Six Siege's North American League 2020 just concluded its fourth week and the results are here. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the matches have been held online. The North American League had some really exciting matches to watch this week, with all the matches played as a best of three format. We saw DarkZero Esports put up an impressive fight against TSM on Coastline and Oregon, and the second match between Tempo and EUnited featured new ways to work around attackers to make Clubhouse more frag heavy.
TSM is known to be one of the most frag heavy teams in the North American region. The squad faced off against DarkZero Esports on Coastline, winning the map 7-4. Coastline is a map that should be avoided when playing against frag heavy teams, as most of the matches on the map depend upon frags. Jason "Beaulo" Doty, the star player for TSM, popped off with 12 kills while making impressive plays such as jumping out of the building and getting two kills in midair. The second map, Oregon, also went in the favor of TSM. Matthew "Achieved" Solomon was instrumental on the second map as he racked up 14 kills while making some important plays that stopped DarkZero in its tracks.
Another decent match to watch was between Tempo and EUnited, which was played out on Oregon and Clubhouse. The first map went 7-5 in the favor of Tempo with their entire team playing equally well. The second map went 7-3 for Tempo, while showing some new and weird strategies such as bringing in Warden and Vigil for a basement hold. Clubhouse is known to be a staple map, but this is a fresh take on how to defend it.
The top two teams of each division will qualify for the major, which will take place after the qualifiers on July 24. SSG and TSM are dominating their respective groups and are likely to secure their spots in the major.
