Austrian-Japanese star Reina Triendl is named spokesperson in Japan for Evony: The King’s Return. Triendl isn’t just an actress and singer but also a well-known model; she’ll also be in the game portrayed as a new character named Princess Kaguya.
Reina is making her official debut through a web commercial currently in production. In the said commercial, she’ll be shown playing a puzzle and when fails to complete it, sends her hero to the labyrinth and look for treasure. That web commercial is set to be released at the end of July.
Reina started working as a model when she was still in high school. She made her debut as a singer in 2011 as a featured artist on Rocketman's song titled Love Disco.
In 2015, Reina was the lead actress in the horror film Tag , where she received the Best Actress Award during the 19th Fantasia International Film Festival in Canada. In 2021, she starred in Watashitachi Kekkon Shimashita 2 (We Got Married). By 2022, Reina published her second photobook which reached fifth place on Oricon's weekly photo book chart.
In a statement, Top Games' David Guo shared that Reina embodies the beauty, as well as the imaginative fun, of Princess Kaguya. He added that they are happy to have her as the spokesperson in Japan.
In addition to a new character, an update is released which adds a new stage.
