'Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps' Gets Pushed Back To June

Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps has been pushed back to June 21 after previously stating it will be ready for a May release date. The game, which is a combination of every multiplayer shooter and zombies, will be available for PS4 and PC. If you are upset about this news, I’m sorry to tell you that there isn’t a Santa Claus and your dog never went to a farm upstate, he got hit by your uncle pulling out of the driveway.

Capcom pushing back the date doesn't surprise me, the game seems uninspired and boring and they might know that. Every piece of gameplay I watch looks like someone took the multiplayer of Metal Gear Solid V and put it through a really dark filter. Resident Evil games work best as suspense shooters, not multiplayer gang bangs.

Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games of all time. It has suspense, great mechanics and a story that keeps you enthralled from start to finish. Umbrella Corps takes all of that suspense, crumples it up and throws it away. Multiplayer shooters like The Division and Destiny are all the rage, and Umbrella Corps is just a shameless attempt to try and capitalize on a fad.

I hope this game bombs, I really do. That way Capcom might start real video games instead of shameless plugs or Pachinko machines.
